The magic of smallness is also based on facts: about 34,000
inhabitants living in 11 villages create a feeling of belonging and being
taken care of that also warmly envelopes our guests. Vaduz, the capital
of Liechtenstein where both Prince and government make their home, is
most likely the country’s best-known municipality. Our country is
24.6 km/15.3 miles long and 12.4 km/7.7 miles wide. With the lowest point
at 430 m/1,410 ft above sea level in the Ruggeller Riet, and the highest
at 2,599 m/8,525 ft above sea level on the Grauspitz, Liechtenstein offers
a diverse topography.
