Away from the hustle, bustle and noise - a stroll through
a village opens worlds. Come discover the small treasures in our villages.
Let yourself be surprised. Just 160 square kilometers/61.8 square miles
for a whole nation. Space enough for affluence, modernity, tradition and
concern for the environment to prosper side by side. Liechtenstein is
divided into the Upper Country and the Lower Country. Many of our guests
wonder just where the differences lie, even after many years. Come experience
the Upper Country folks and those from the Lower Country as one people,
meeting others with warmth and hospitality. Looking south or north up
or down the Rhine River, the view is that of a wide expanse only constrained
by the mountain ranges to the east and west of the Rhine River.
