The Princely Trail (Fürstensteig), Philosopher’s
Path (Philosophenweg), Three Sisters (Drei Schwestern). Or from Gaflei
to Silum. Whether you want to smell the mountain air only at altitudes
higher than 2,300 m/7,500 ft above sea level, or at a few hundred meters/feet
lower, you can hike through Liechtenstein at many different altitudes.
Collectors of peaks, mountain climbers and easygoing wanderers, in Liechtenstein
they all find an endless choice of heights and hiking paths.
At 1,300 m/4,265 ft above sea level, benefits set in as
though at a health resort, brought about merely by breathing air that
purifies body and soul. You are usually very close to this realm on ridge
paths, mountain trails and mountain climbs. But even the people hiking
our valleys claim that the air is more aromatic on the trails crisscrossing
Liechtenstein than anywhere else.

On a mountain bike you can explore the fascinating world
of the mountains on numerous trails. Setting out early in the morning,
you can reach nearly every destination by noon. A gratifying arrival on
one of the many Alps is your reward for all the effort. With every added
foot of altitude, the chance increases of reaching vistas nobody else
will find. Families enjoy bicycling on the 90 km/56 miles of marked bicycle
trails crisscrossing the valley plain on both sides of the Rhine River.
Here, even the tiniest tots have no trouble keeping up. |
